New for the 5th release, we have taken the Nomad Tent to the next level. We have blown the top off and made the tent a full convertible, with the ability to open the tent up and let the breeze rip through, just like your knees in the wind.
We camp a lot, and during those summer months we really wanted to keep the bugs and critters out, but want the breeze ripping through on those hot nights. Having a separate rain fly has always been a pain, which is why we originally said "screw all that noise", and made the simple single layer tent. We've now come back to find the ultimate happy medium and have the best of both worlds.
If it starts raining, it's super easy to just roll down the cover. If not, enjoy gazing at the stars all night. You're going to be stoked.

The tent is extremely waterproof, DOUBLE Water-proof Fabric Treatment & canvas has been a trusted material for the outdoors for many years.
Set up and pack down can both be done in 5 minutes or less.
You won’t have any problem if you choose your ground carefully and use the kickstand plate & flat piece of wood or rock if needed.
Also take into consideration wind direction and any low hanging branches on nearby trees that may be a risk to you and your bike.
We haven't heard of it happening in the 10 years we've been making this tent.
No. The Nomad Tent does not need the bike at all. We have poles that allow for a campsite away from the bike.
