Not what I expected

The gloves look great, and seem to be very well made. I measured my hands very carefully, and ordered based on that. My hands are not particularly large and my fingers are not very thick. I find the thumbs on these gloves to be excessively tight. I finally got the gloves out for a cool weather ride (the temperature never got below 45 F), and found them to be not very warm. The palm side of the glove has no insulation, and the fleece in the rest of the glove is not very thick. I started riding in Colorado and Wyoming, rode 12 months of the year - snow, sleet, rain, sunshine - and had shearling-lined gauntlets then that could handle sub-freezing temps. These gloves wouldn't cut it in actual cold weather.
